Loren GallagherLoren V. Gallagher
President/CEO

Mr. Gallagher entered the vacation timeshare industry in 1982 and spent 15 years holding various positions with Vacation Resorts International. He left VRI to pursue other opportunities including Senior Vice President/Acquisitions in Asia for a publicly-traded company and, subsequently, President of a management company responsible for one of the largest points-based timeshare clubs in the USA.

As President of VRI, Mr. Gallagher provides leadership to position and keep the Company at the forefront of the industry. He works closely with the Chairman to develop the strategic plans necessary to advance the Company’s missions and objectives. He also oversees the Company’s operations to insure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.

Mr. Gallagher earned a Master Degree in International Government / Chinese language from San Diego State University / National Chengchi University (Taiwan) and graduated from Loyola Law School (Los Angeles). He has been a member of the California State Bar since 1983.

Roy FraserRoy I. Fraser
Chairman of the Board

Mr. Fraser is a seasoned resort development and management veteran highly regarded by his industry peers. Following a series of successful syndications and professional management assignments involving single-family residences, condominiums, apartments, commercial stores, and motels in the ‘60s and ‘70s, Mr. Fraser entered the vacation ownership industry by developing, marketing, and selling the San Clemente Inn, among the first timeshare resorts in California. Soon thereafter, he founded Vacation Resorts International, a professional management company specializing in complete administration and operations management for the timeshare industry. Now, with nearly three decades of experience and 160 resorts actively managed, Mr. Fraser has earned a reputation for innovative, solution-oriented, decision-making, as well as a quick willingness to share his lessons with others. He is a long-standing member of the ARDA Board of Directors.

Stacey ShillingStacey Shilling
Senior Vice President/COO

Ms. Shilling has been an employee of VRI for over two decades. Her responsibilities have included reservations, assessment billing and collections, marketing, and owner services. She has also served as the department head for administration, handling board meeting minutes, employee relations, and staffing. She currently oversees reservations, owner services, human resources and inventory control. She also acts as the insurance coordinator for VRI as well as its resorts and is responsible for VRI's System 9900 training and support division - Educational Services Department.

Tom BruetteTom Bruette
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Bruette has been with VRI since 1986. Mr. Bruette is responsible for all aspects of resort accounting, financial analysis, budget preparation, coordination of resort independent year-end accounting services including tax reporting and resort cash management for VRI.

Jan SamsonJan Samson
Senior Vice President of Resort Operations/
Southeast Region

Ms. Samson has been with VRI since 2004, bringing with her 25 years experience in the hospitality industry. Ms. Samson held various operational management positions in housekeeping, front desk, night audit and reservations with Hyatt Hotels, and has vast experience in accounting and HOA controllership positions with Marriott. Ms. Samson also held controllership and Vice-Presidential positions, and was ultimately appointed President of RPM Management, Inc. Ms. Samson has degrees in accounting and hospitality management and holds an active Community Association Management License in the State of Florida. Ms. Samson held the position of Sr. Vice President Business and Corporate Development for VRI and in January 2011 assumed the responsibility for the Southeast region. She is responsible for providing support and direction to the Vice Presidents and Directors of Resorts in the States of Florida and Alabama. In addition, Ms. Samson will continue to assist in the facilitation of rental marketing for VRI on a national level.

Tom O'BrienTom O'Brien
Senior Vice President of Resort Operations/
Western Region

Mr. O’Brien has been with VRI since 1986. Mr. O’Brien has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, working in the timeshare industry for the last 22 years, is responsible for resort operations at all VRI-managed resorts in the Western region of the U.S. and shares responsibility for the Central region of the U.S. with Royce Pennington. Mr. O’Brien has a degree in Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional management from Purdue University, and currently serves on several Association Boards of Directors. Mr. O’Brien's experience and leadership has helped grow the company and provides a solid foundation for its continued expansion.

Stuart AllenStuart Allen
Senior Vice President of Resort Operations &
General Manager for Vacation Internationale

Mr. Allen joined VRI in 2004 after a 27 year career as a lawyer in Seattle. Mr. Allen was formerly general counsel to the Vacation Internationale Owners Association before becoming a VRI employee and assuming the position of General Manager of Vacation Internationale (VI). Based in Bellevue, WA, Mr. Allen oversees resort development and acquisition, marketing and sales, and resort operations for VI. During his legal career, Mr. Allen served the hospitality and travel industry, including timeshare development, sales and operations, and was managing partner of his firm. Mr. Allen is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Stanford University, is a member of ARDA, and a Board member of Seattle Goodwill Industries.

Royce PenningtonRoyce Pennington
Senior Vice President of Resort Operations/
Southwest & Central Regions

Mr. Pennington has been with VRI since 1990, and has worked in the resort and property management industry for over 26 years. Immediately prior to becoming a VRI employee, he served as General Manager of a large multi-use resort development. His extensive experience in resort administration, operations and development afford him the uncommon ability to provide guidance and direction to on-site managers and staff from a "hands-on" perspective. Mr. Pennington oversees VRI's Southwest region and shares responsibility for the Central region of the U.S. with Tom O'Brien.

Rich MullerRich Muller
Senior Vice President of Resort Operations/
Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Regions

Mr. Muller has been with VRI since 1991, and has over 35 years experience in the Hotel, Restaurant and Hospitality industry, including 19 years in the timeshare industry. His background and experience includes concentrations in lending, finance and accounting. Mr. Muller maintains a Community Association Managers License in the State of Florida and has a degree in Hotel Management. He served as Vice President of Resort Operations since 2000 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2005. Mr. Muller is responsible for resort operations within the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic area; supporting Vice Presidents & Directors of Resorts in these regions. He also has direct oversight of sales and marketing activities extending through the Southeast region.
